Dear Friend,

Hi! Greetings from my cozy part of the world! I hope you are doing well. :)

In April of 2011 I saw a post by my friend Bobby on Facebook advertising this site called 'Postcrossing.com', the idea of the site is to basically exchange postcards with random people around the world never knowing what kind of card you will receive or where it will come from.

Like many people, I love to receive postcards from different places that I have never been to. I constantly beg my friends when they go on vacation to send me a postcard instead of buying me a souvenir. Being the great friends that they are they have tickled my fancy by sending me postcards of their travels throughout the years. I thought the idea of Postcrossing as a nice way of giving my friends a break and decided to give it a try.

I do not travel much outside of my bubble but this site has brought on a lot of joy into my otherwise stressful life. I decided to start this blog to showcase my received and sent cards as well as the interactions and friendships that I have made since--all possible thanks to Postrcrossing.
